Helpful Hints

Our restaurant and bistro area can comfortably sit approx 60 guests.

We recommend a tent or marquee set up outside for wedding dinners or buffets.
Mountain weather can be unpredictable. We recommend a tent or marquee outside for a ‘wet weather’ alternative for the ceremony, dinner and reception.
The Bride and Groom are responsible for organizing; Music, Photography, Flowers, Cake, Officiate or minister, Decorations and wedding favors, Special linen if required.
Glacier House Resor t can provide basic table linen, glassware and cutlery for up to 60 guests. For larger numbers, we can organize rental linen, glassware and cutlery and a fee will be incurred.
Set up time is from 11am on the day of arrival.Tear down must be done by 3pm on the day of departure. This will be the Bride and Groom’s responsibility.

Glacier House does not run a shuttle service. The Bride and Groom are responsible for transportation if the ceremony or reception are at a different location.

Our fire regulations and environmental policies do not permit the use of personal BBQ’s and cooking equipment. However, we do have a BBQ on our patio that you are able to use.

If you wish to put up decorations for your event, we ask that no permanent holes or fixtures are left in walls, furniture or anywhere else in the resort. We are a classic Lodge style building, and simple and natural decorations work best in our space.

We can not allow rice or confetti to be thrown in our sensitive natural environment. Bubbles are a fun alternative with less impact to our surroundings.
