Weddings & Family Reunions:

Glacier House Resort is a popular place for those special events. Summer weddings take place in the lodge and continue on the outdoor patio and in the log gazebo. Fun entertainment is provided in our sports bar. Want to have a wedding on a glacier? We’ll take care of it too, by flying you high into the mountains for this special occasion. Or get married in a canoe on the river, or while snowmobiling? At Glacier House Resort your wedding will be a special one.

Our grounds are ideal for small to medium sized Family reunions or weddings. Spacious lodge rooms and log chalets with various room configurations, make Glacier House Resort very suitable for your get-together for parties of up to 50 people. Meetings, Incentives & Events:

Glacier House Resort is the ideal facility for your group meeting. Whether it is your staff, most valued clients or customers, the resort offers various meeting rooms, a sensational outdoor setting and spacious fireplace rooms and cabins. Catering services from 25 to 125 guests are offered in the dining room with view of the Begbie Glacier, Sledders pub or even outside on the patio.

The broad spectrum of outdoor sports make Glacier House the ideal place for a company retreat or meeting. Golfing, canoeing, hiking and helicopter hiking, snowmobiling, snow shoeing and downhill or helicopter skiing are all possible. We’ll make your next event one to remember. Available function rooms:

• Guides Room: This room is available for meetings with up to 35 people in various settings. It can be rented on a day basis ($100).
• Sledders Pub: Located at the lower level of the lodge, our Pub offers great atmosphere for your private function. A large open fireplace, pool table, fooseball and game machines, and large log bar offer all the ingredients for a fun evening. The pub will cater to an 80 people sit-down dinner as easily as to a 90 person party night with live music. (Rates per event).
• Sportshop: Our log-cabin sportshop is located across the Parking lot and is ideal for multi-day product testing (e.g. snowmobiles) and display. The 24x36 foot building incorporates a workbench, washroom, ample lighting and seating. 2 Double-wide doors allow large equipment to be moved in and out with ease. An adjoining canopy of 24x36 foot dimension provides additional shelter for outdoor functions. (Rates on request).
• Log Gazebo: Located behind the main lodge and surrounded by gardens the Gazebo is a great place for special functions like outdoor BBQ’s, breakfasts or a leisure evening with campfire singing.
• The following equipment is available for rent:
• Television and DVD player
• Big screen projector with AVR and computer hook up
• Flip chart and easel

Club, Dealer Rides and Special Events

Glacier House is a great place for your next event, gathering or club social. We make it happen. Site of the 2001 BC ATV Jamboree, 2004 Kawasaki ATV dealer intro, 2007 KIMPEX dealer show, and the annual Skidoo VIC Rides and RTR dealer Rides and more, we offer lots of parking, food catering services and superb accommodations for your folks. Qualified guides are on hand to take care of your groups and many companies are taking the opportunity to meet at Glacier House and combine meetings with active days snowmobiling, canoeing or ATV-ing.

Filcrews & Media

Each year we support several film productions or film crews. You can see Glacier House Resort in many snowmobile DVD's and in many outdoor adventure programs like 'Sled heads. the Motorheads and outdoor network. Requests for media assistance can be forwarded to Alex Szirmai, president, and must include all details of your shoot, confimation of production schedule (air- time or time of publication) and services required.
