FRONT DESK OPENING HOURS
Our Front Desk is open from 7am until 11pm daily (7am - 10.30pm outside of peak season).
Check in time is between 4pm and 11pm (10.30pm outside of peak season).
Late arrivals (after 10.30pm) please contact the Front Desk prior to your arrival to make arrangements for this.
Check out time is by 11am. A fee may be incurred for late check outs after this time.
The Gallery Restaurant and Bar is open on select days only, outside of peak season. Please contact our Front Desk for up to date information and alternate dining options.
Group cabins, multiple reservations, reservations for 4 consecutive nights or more and Christmas bookings are subject to a specific cancellation policy (see deposit section below).
Cancellations received 8 days or more prior to your arrival incur no fee.
Cancellations received within 3 to 7 days of the date of arrival are subject to a fee of 50% of the total reservation charges (including tax).
Cancellations received within 48 hours of date of arrival or no-shows are subject to a fee of 100% of the total reservation charges (including tax).
There are no exceptions to this cancellation policy: We do not offer refunds or transfer reservation dates due to personal illness, family emergency, injury or snow and weather conditions. Please remember that transportation to and from Glacier House Resort is weather dependent and delays can happen. Glacier House Resort is not responsible for delays or cancellations due to poor access conditions or road closures. Reliable prediction of factors such as weather and snow is impossible. We strongly urge our clients to purchase appropriate travel insurance prior to booking.
Date changes can be accommodated where possible when made 8 days or more prior to your arrival. When made 7 days or less of the expected date of arrival, a cancellation fee will be applicable (as outlined above).
A valid credit card must be presented at check-in. Credit cards accepted are MASTERCARD, VISA AND AMERICAN EXPRESS (a surcharge will apply when using Amex).
Full payment of reservation is due on the expected day of arrival. The exceptions to this are as follows:-
Non-refundable deposits are required under the following circumstances; please note such deposits fall outside of the Hotels standard cancellation terms and are NOT refundable under any circumstance.
· Reservations for 4 or more room nights &/or 4 or more rooms require a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due on the day of arrival.
· Christmas reservations: Dec 21, 2015 - Jan 2, 2016. 50% non-refundable deposit required at time of booking. Remaining balance due 60 days prior to arrival and will be charged to the credit card provided at the time of reservation.
Large Group Cabin #106, during the Winter season requires a $1000 non-refundable deposit due at the time of booking with the remaining balance due on the day of arrival, unless booked during the Christmas period, when full payment is required in advance.
Customers will be informed at the time of booking of any deposits required; such deposits will be taken at the time of booking to secure the reservation and confirmed via email.
Group bookings and Wedding group bookings are subject to specific group policies and terms and conditions. Please contact us for up to date information regarding your group or wedding reservation.
SEASONS 2015 / 2016
Spring – April 01 until June 15
Summer (peak) – June 16 until September 15
Fall – September 16 until November 14
Winter (peak) – November 15 until March 31
Please note; restaurant hours and dining options may be limited outside of peak seasons.
Only certain room types at Glacier House are pet friendly; please check with Front Desk at the time of booking. Pet friendly accomodation must be requested at time of booking. If you have booked via a third party agent, please contact us directly to ensure your pet friendly room has been reserved - we can not guarantee pet friendly room until you have received confirmation direct from us.
Pets are $22.00 per night per pet plus taxes; a maximum of 2 pets per unit are allowed.
At the time of check-in guests will be required to sign Glacier House Resort’s Pet Policy.
Guests must notify Glacier House Resort PRIOR to arrival if they are bringing a pet. Pets are NOT are allowed in any of the non-designated pet friendly accommodations or common areas of the main lodge. If a guest brings a pet into a non-pet room or cabin, a cleaning fee equal to a 2 nights stay in that room/cabin will be charged to the guest’s credit card. Pets must remain on leash at all times while on the property.
PRIVATE HOT TUBS (CABINS ONLY)
Private hot tubs in our cabin accommodation is available on request. From September 1, 2015 - December 1, 2015 and May 1, 2016 - December 1, 2016, private hot tubs are subject to an additional usage fee of $50 + taxes . A minimum of 48 hours advance notice is required for hot tub set up. All guests may use our public hot tub in the Lodge building at no additional cost.
RATES & OCCUPANCY
ALL rooms/cabins are subject to a maximum occupancy; please check this with the Front Desk.
All Lodge Rooms, rates are based on double occupancy.
Medium Cabins, rates are based on 3 adults sharing.
Large Cabins, rates are based on 4 adults sharing.
Small Group Cabin, rates are based on 4 adults sharing.
Large Group Cabin rates are based on 8 adults sharing in winter.
Additional persons are $22.00 per person, per night plus tax.
Are considered to be 12 years of age and under.
Up to 2 children are included in the rate per unit, thereafter the standard additional person fee is applicable.
All children staying at Glacier House Resort must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
FIRE REGULATIONS / WILDLIFE AWARENESS
Use of small personal BBQ or cooking stoves are allowed on the outside decks of our cabins. Please ensure you thoroughly clean up all food scraps and debris, and clean your BBQ or stove of any grease or residue so as not to attract wildlife. We are located in pristine wilderness, please help us to respect and look after our natural environment. BBQ's and personal stoves are not allowed inside any room or cabin at any time. Food cannot be left outside on patios or hallways as it attracts wildlife. Glacier House Resort is not responsible for lost or spoiled items.
Glacier House Resort is a non-smoking property except for designated outside areas. Smoking in the rooms/cabins will result in a cleaning fee equal to 2 nights of room/cabin revenue, which will be charged to the guest’s credit card.
We reserve the right to charge your credit or debit card for any damage(s) incurred to your room, cabin or the Lodge during your stay (including without limitation specialist cleaning) or for any items that are missing when you leave.
Food and cooler bins cannot be left outside on patios or hallways as it attracts wildlife. Glacier House Resort is not responsible for lost or spoiled items.
Park on the paved areas only, or as instructed. Improperly parked vehicles and trailers will be towed and risk of damage is at the vehicle owners’ expense.
Vehicles and their contents are left at the owner’s/customer’s own risk. Glacier House Resort does not accept any responsibility or liability for loss or damage.
