SAFETY COMES FIRST:
Revelstoke Activity Centre, our on site summer adventure company provides adventure services that are safe and enjoyable for all clients. However, waiver forms acknowledging assumption of risk and release of liability must be signed prior to departure in all cases.
In the interest of safety, companies offering adventure tours reserve the right to decline any participant to a tour without reason. In addition, tour guides reserve the right to ask a participant to leave a tour if they deem a participant's actions to be detrimental to the safety or welfare of others. Certain restrictions may also apply relating to age, weight, and physical condition to ensure the safety of participants.

Cancellations:
Tours may require a minimum number of participants to operate. If such numbers are not obtained, a tour departure may be canceled. A tour may also be canceled if weather conditions inhibit the safety of individuals participating in a tour.

Physical Fitness:
Due to the nature of these programs, clients wishing to participate in adventure activities should have a reasonable level of fitness and be in good health.
 
DEPARTURES
All trip departures are from Glacier House Resort. Please confirm departures and times with the front desk

Participant Requirements:
Sturdy walking shoes; rain gear; small day pack; change of clothing and shoes for water based activities; sunscreen & insect repellent, camera. ATV tours; we recommend long pants, closed toe shoes and sunglasses an extra jacket for evening tours.

CONDITIONS: 

•  All tours are subject to 6% Fed tax
• Guide tipping is appreciated and usually approx. 5-7% of tour rates
• All tours are to be pre-paid prior to departure
• A liability release and assumption of risk is required from all participants. Children under 19, will have to be signed for and accompanied by their parents
• Any medical situations or allergies are to be indicated on the waiver
• ATV tours: Participants are responsible for all damages caused to ATV machines or other equipment or third parties.
• A deposit may be required, or by signing for a tour, client will allow the Glacier House Resort room deposit to cover the ATV damage deposit

Cancellations on pre-bookings:

• Written cancellations are accepted only, per date as received by our office
• Cancellation charges apply in the following circumstances: Any time after reservation confirmation:
  • 40% of tour charge 30-2 days before departure
  • 100% of reservation less then 2 days
